The Micro Mosquito is a worthwhile investment for those who show it some respect. It is not perfect, but it’s a more satisfying ride than other RC HCs. First, the downsides: it’s a tad overpriced, highly susceptible to air currents and has difficulty remaining stable during prolonged forward motion. If you don’t mind the investment, the second two issues aren’t deal-breakers. Just use it indoors with no fans on, and become accustomed to controlling altitude and trim more than steering & propulsion. This RC HC has the advantage of being able to hover, which others can’t claim. Getting a stable hover is half the battle! Controlling direction orientation (trim) is another fourth of the battle. Steering may be three sixteenths of the remaining battle, and propulsion is the last sixteenth of the battle. Have used this RC HC well over a year now, still works well, holds a decent charge…and has even become something of a friend.

I have had this helicopter for 2 years and I have been very abusive to it (trying to fly it through small spaces and such) and the only thing that needed replacing was the rear rudder.
one thing, that may be a flaw with only mine, is that when you go off the throttle, it still tries to fly for 3 more seconds, which is sometimes the route of my crashing.
all in all, very durable, great control, easy to work, charges fast (~25 min), and lots of fun!

I recently ordered this RC heli from Xheli, un-packed it, tried to fly, it was dead,
tried to charge “first problem came up” as you read the instructions it says “Make sure power is off on heli,
plug charger into heli and plug charger into wall outlet” it says LED light will be OFF while charging and ON when finished……this seemed backwards to me but whatever. But my problem was that the Heli would not charge. I tried and tried to get it to charge with no luck, so I contacted customer service at Xheli and they said they would send me a RMA so I could send back to fix problem.
My problem with this is, I paid $50 for this toy, it never worked, and now I would have to PAY to re-ship Xheli’s toy back to them, and then WAIT 5 to 10 days just for them to get to look at it then no telling how long before I get it back to be able to play with my purchase.
I found the same EXACT heli at Radio Shack but it costs $20 more but after all this id rather have paid Radio shack and been done with all this.
I would find another company if I were looking to buy any RC stuff.

Good value for the money. The kids will love it. As with most Playmobil products, the quality is great. Though I agree with other reviewer about the guns. Though they’ll unfortunately learn about them whether we like it or not… it must be something genetically encoded in boys.
You could easily lose the guns, the kids likely will anyhow!

This is a fairly well built product, all of the parts seem to be easily replaceable. Mine can’t seem to keep power for to long, it can make short flights but it loses power and can’t stay in the air for more than 30-60 seconds before slowly drifting to the floor. I don’t know if its a battery issue or what. Other than that its a decent helicopter, when mine can stay airborn it handles pretty well. Only someone who is familiar with flying micro helicopters should attempt to pilot this helicopter inside because it’s rather large and could damage things that it crashes into. . .

The toy is fun to fly, but I have a few issues with it.
1. The main (large) blades are way to fragile. I broke both top and bottom when my cat swatted it out of the air. I have had two other different brands before this and had no trouble with blade breakage. The blades either need to be less brittle or thicker. SUPER GLUE is my best friend when flying these.
2. I just figured out after 6 flights that it will not move foward and right at the same time easily, it is very difficult. There is only a small position on the controll that will allow the movement.
3. It is sporatic with the trim. While keeping constant elevation, it will spontaneously start to spin one way or the other, and then eventually stabalize again without and adjustment.
4. Up/Down is has a small range that is very drastic, it will go from slowly falling to a drastic climb.

I bought a 2 pack of these Tenergy 130 mah batteries with my first MCX S300.I paid $12.99 here. They worked well for the first 3 charges and then although they would take over 30 min to charge, one would not even lift the heli off the ground. My 2 Eflite 110 and 120 batteries work just fine.
And, like others have said they do not fit well and I did need to glue the receptacle back on to the battery since it became loose. Even if they are relatively cheap, they are not worth the money.
I am going to buy the Eflite 150’s for extended flight.
No more Tenergy!!!
I think that Amazon should remove this product from its inventory since I do like to shop here and don’t want to buy junk at any price.

It’s a very simple toy, just two electric small engines and that’s it… but it’s funny to play with it. Most of the buttons from the remote control are fake, but who cares? You need to get 8 AA rechargable batteries for the remote… otherwise you will spend a fortune in batteries. Is so much fun and very inexpensive.

La verdad es que es muy sencillo, solo dos motorcitos electricos y ya, pero es muy divertido. Algunos de los botones del control remoto son falsos, pero a quien le importa? Mi recomendacion es que compren 8 baterias recargables para el control si no quieren terminar arruinados comprando pilas AA. La verdad es que esta muy barato para lo que es.

this copter is the ONLY thing my 5 year old wanted for Christmas. We were so worried he wouldn’t be able to fly it, but he did AMAZING. It was so easy to fly, the charge lasted a long time, and it was quick to recharge. He played with it all day, until, it crash landed and broke. Now the propeller wont spin. We are hoping it is something easy to fix, but we shall see. It did work GREAT until the prop broke.

Purchased toy as a gift. The price for this toy was six times more than what it was going for in the stores. Even though it may have been discontinued in some stores making a little profit is ok. However this mark up was outrageous. I will think very hard about buying from this merchant again. In addition i found the delivery to be slow.
